Meet Sharon

Sharon M. Finney is an author on a mission to encourage and inspire through writing, for growth and healing. In January 2018, she published a memoir entitled Sweet Magnolia. She openly shares her career, parenting, and thoughts on second chances in three co-author projects. Rose of Sharon Publishing was birthed in 2020. Sharon published Encounters with God: 10 Women, 10 Testimonies under her new company later that year.
Sharon is a proud Army veteran, an ordained minister of the gospel, a wedding officiant, and a Women’s Ministry director.
She has a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Liberty University, a B.S. degree in instrumental music from Florida A&M University, and a graduate certificate in Human Resource Development from Florida State University. Sharon is the co-owner of L&S Enterprise, LLC, specializing in premarital counseling and marriage enrichment. She is also the Executive Pastor of Restoration Christian Ministries International.
